About ESN Galați

ESN Galați is a student-led organization dedicated to supporting international and exchange students in Galați. Our goal is to facilitate social integration, cultural exchange and peer-to-peer support based on the core Erasmus Student Network principle: "Students helping students."

Our status

Founded in December 2024, ESN Galați is currently a Candidate Section of ESN Romania. We are actively developing our volunteer team and establishing local initiatives to achieve full membership within the wider Erasmus Student Network.

What we do

We focus on practical support and community building through the following initiatives:

The buddy system

Connecting incoming exchange students with local students for logistical guidance and social support.

Cultural events

Organizing city tours, trips and activities that introduce international students to Romanian culture.

Student support

Providing information and assistance to help mobility students navigate university life in Galați.
